Abstract RU 2774271 C2

FIELD: pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of pharmaceutics; it can be used for intranasal administration of water-soluble physiologically active substances. A non-therapeutic method for administration of water-soluble physiologically active substances selected from one or several vitamins includes intranasal administration to a subject of an aqueous composition including: 0.001-25 wt.% of one or several completely dissolved physiologically active substances, including at least 0.001 wt.% of one or several vitamins selected from a group of thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin, folic acid, cyanocobalamin, hydroxocobalamin, methyl cobalamin and salts and mixtures thereof; 0.01-10 wt.% of nicotinamide and at least 60 wt.% of water. In this case, the aqueous composition does not include niacin and ascorbic acid at the same time, physiologically active substances have solubility in demineralized water of at least 15 mg/ml at 20°C, and physiologically active substance is present in the aqueous composition in a concentration that is lower than its limit of solubility in water at 20°C. The group of inventions also relates to the use of the specified aqueous composition in preventive or therapeutic treatment of vitamin B deficiency, a kit for intranasal administration of water-soluble physiologically active substances, and the use of nicotinamide as an enhancer of intranasal absorption from an aqueous solution of physiologically active substance.

EFFECT: sufficient enhancing of intranasal absorption of water-soluble vitamins from aqueous solutions is provided.
