SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and can be used to pump liquid into the upper oil-bearing formation from the lower formation of the well. The method for pumping water from the lower layer to the upper one includes the construction of a well with a descending section that opens the upper - oil reservoir and the lower one - an aquifer, and an ascending inclined section that opens the same layers from the bottom up. After that, the well is cased with a production string, cemented along the entire length of the well, and perforation is performed at three places where the well intersects with the formations. One perforation is made in the descending section, and two perforations - in the ascending section of the well, between which a packer with a coaxially placed liner is installed. The liner hermetically interacts with the outlet of the submersible pump after it is lowered on the pipe string into the well. The ascending section is connected to the descending section by a curved section with the minimum possible radius of curvature for the equipment used in drilling. The curved section is carried out when drilling in an aquifer or at least 5 m of its sole. The production string is perforated in the descending section at the intersection of the well with the aquifer, and the curved section located in the aquifer is perforated along its entire length.

EFFECT: proposed method for pumping water from the lower layer to the upper one allows expanding the functionality due to the possibility of working with layers of small thickness due to opening them with inclined sections of the wellbore, which provide a longer interval of placement and, as a result, perforation in the layers selected for opening, reduce material costs due to the use of only one pump for operation and to exclude large sections of the wellbore that are not involved in the work, located below the lower formation.
