FIELD: heat storage.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for storing heat and can be used in autonomous solar electric heat supply of household and industrial premises, mainly of a lunar base. The method for creating a heat accumulator, mainly for the lunar base, consists in creating a cavity in the ground and placing a heat-intensive material and a heat exchanger in this cavity. As a heat-intensive material, lunar dust is used, in a layer of which a heat exchanger is placed at a depth of 5-10 m. The heat exchanger is fixed so that it does not move during the melting of lunar dust, a coolant with a temperature exceeding the melting temperature of lunar dust is fed into it. As the melt of the glass mass forms around the heat exchanger, its subsidence and compaction of the soil under it, an additional volume of lunar dust is poured from the surface until the required volume of glass mass is formed.
EFFECT: when implementing the proposed solution, the process of constructing a heat accumulator for the lunar base is simplified and cheapened.
