FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, in particular to devices for production of thermal, electric energy, its accumulation, as well as for desalination of salt water, drying of vegetables and fruits. Solar thermal power plant is shaped as pyramid located under vacuum glass dome. Heat accumulating body of pyramid is made of stone or concrete blocks. In the center of the pyramid there is a cavity, from which channels are directed to the pyramid surface. Translucent coating is made of glass in the form of a vacuum chamber, which covers the pyramid surface on all its sides, except the base. Surface of vacuum chamber on pyramid side is coated with light-transmitting and heat-reflecting film. In its turn, pyramid surface has light-absorbing coating. Said chamber is communicated with vacuum pump. Pyramid base is insulated from ground by heat insulation. High-pressure boiler is placed in the pyramid cavity. Boiler is equipped with water level sensor and filled with water to form cavity above it to sensor level. Cavity of said boiler from below is communicated via pipe with water supply pump, above water – with turbine, which is kinematically connected to generator. Besides, thermal power plant is equipped with light reflectors with possibility to direct light flux on surface of pyramid faces.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining hot water, steam, electric power, heat energy and its accumulation.
