SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering. The traction drive contains an input drive shaft that transmits rotation to the railway wheel, which is rigidly connected to the output drive shaft with two gear stages having a small gear and a large gear, a gear housing with bearings for the input and output shafts and transmission oil located in the gear housing. The input and output drive shafts are sealed in the transmission housing with labyrinth seals. In the operating position, the input drive shaft is located below the output drive shaft, a separate oil pan is located below each large gear of each gear stage, and a supply disk for supplying transmission oil from the first gear oil pan is rigidly rotatably connected to or integrated with the large gear or intermediate gear wheel of the first gear stage, and in the region of the feed disk, there is a suction line, which is open in the region of the labyrinth seal of the input drive shaft, and the transmission casing has a fastening element for rotatable fastening about an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the input drive shaft and the output drive shaft.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions of the transmission and increased reliability.
