SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology using optical fiber, namely, to methods for fixing the linear part for a security fiber optic detector on a fence, security fiber optic detectors, as well as to products and means related to security fiber optic detectors and their aspects. Simplification of the installation process, increase in the speed of installation and increase in the overall operational reliability of the security fiber-optic detector are achieved, in particular, due to the exclusion from its composition of weakly protected compensation coils necessary to compensate for the length of the fibers of the sensitive element.

EFFECT: increasing the sensitivity of the security fiber-optic detector, in particular, by laying the cable of the sensing element on the elements of the fence in the form of a smoothly curving shape that fastens the threads of the wire fence, strengthening the fence itself and eliminating the possibility of an unnoticed penetration of the intruder through the fence by pushing the wire threads apart and forming a hole in fence.
