FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering, and in particular to the technique of generating microwave oscillations. The effect is achieved due to the fact that the "Microwave Generator" contains a magnetron, three step-up transformers, three high-voltage capacitors and six high-voltage diodes combined into two groups of three diodes. In this case, the primary windings of all three transformers are connected to a three-phase AC network, and the one-sidedly located outputs of the secondary windings of all three transformers are connected by a "star", the common point of which is connected to the "ground". Wherein the cathodes of the first group of high-voltage diodes are connected to a common point connected to the "ground", and the anodes of the second group of high-voltage diodes are connected to the magnetron cathode. In addition, in the secondary circuit of each transformer, the same set of N ratings of high-voltage capacitors, N pieces in each set, is used, synchronous switching between which is provided by a three-pole switch with N positions. And the oppositely located ungrounded terminals of the secondary windings of each of the three transformers are connected in series through high-voltage capacitors of the same capacity from each set to the anodes of the high-voltage diodes of the first group and to the cathodes of the high-voltage diodes of the second group using a three-pole switch.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of discrete control of the output power level of the microwave generator while maintaining the continuity of the microwave radiation generation mode.
