FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to structures of vertical take-off and landing aircrafts. Tailsitter (1', 1'') contains wing (4) with closed frontal section (C), fuselage (2), from which the mentioned wing protrudes, the mentioned fuselage continues parallel to first axis (Y). The wing is a non-planar closed wing containing first section (5) protruding from the mentioned fuselage, second section (6) located at a distance from the mentioned first section, first and second connecting sections (7), which are located between corresponding ends (8, 9) of mentioned first section (5) and mentioned second section. The first section and the second section are parallel to each other and pass parallel to second axis (X), which is orthogonal to mentioned first axis (Y), wherein mentioned first axis (Y) is located vertically, when used in a take-off/landing position, and tilted relatively to a vertical direction in a cruising position.
EFFECT: reduction in dimensions of an aircraft, improvement in flight characteristics with conventional longitudinal balancing.
