FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating, in particular to the electrochemical bronzing of metal products, and can be used to create protective and decorative coatings in the production of furniture fittings, automotive and shipbuilding. Electrolytic deposition of yellow tin bronze is carried out at pH 10-12 and current density from 0.25 to 5 A/dm2 from an alkaline electrolyte containing 120-230 g/l of nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid, 15-30 g/l of copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate, 4-16 g/l sodium stannate meta trihydrate and 100-300 g/l potassium hydroxide, with the addition of 0.5-1.5 ml/l VAT residue of ribose esterification with aliphatic alcohol with the number of carbon atoms in the C16-C22 chain.
EFFECT: obtaining a fine-crystalline coating of yellow tin bronze with a tin content of 9 to 14% in a wide range of current densities.
