FIELD: ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ophthalmology. The eye occluder is an overlay that is attached to the frame of glasses, covering one lens to block the light flux of one eye of the user, the overlay is made of two flat-shaped parts sewn together. Both parts of the lining are made in a flat shape from two layers of soft fabric, duplicated among themselves. In this case, one layer of the fabric of the first part of the lining, adjacent to the lens and facing the user's eye, is made of dark or flesh-colored fabric. At one end of the first part of the overlay, two slots are made for passing the spectacle temples through them. The configuration of the first part of the patch is made in such a way that its upper section passes over the temple and the upper part of the frame and smoothly rounds over the bridge of the frame, without overlapping it, and touches the nosepiece of the frame opening for the closed eye, runs along the line of the user's nose and smoothly rounds to the lower section of the first part of the lining, located in the cheek area of the user. The second part of the lining is sewn with the upper and lower parts of the first part of the lining, located in front of it, with longitudinal lines that do not cross the edges of both parts of the lining, forming a through cavity between them to accommodate a part of the frame with a closed lens. The configuration of the upper section of the second part of the lining coincides with the configuration of the upper section of the first part of the lining.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at creating an eye occluder that provides reliable complete blocking of the view of one eye, comfortable and safe in operation, convenient when putting on and taking off the frame.
