SUBSTANCE: invention relates to panel (1) of a piece of furniture with an embedded or inserted hinge for direction of movable part (3) of the piece of furniture. In this case, panel (1) of the piece of furniture has two side surfaces, end surface, and recess (2) of the end surface for accommodation of the hinge. At the same time, the hinge contains main element (10), linear guide (80), and rotary guide (90) pivotally attached to it, while linear guide (80) has constantly directed movable elements, to which rotary guide (90) is pivotally connected at a distance from main element (10). Panel (1) of the piece of furniture differs in that one of two side surfaces is located in the first plane, and the other is located in the second plane, wherein linear guide (90) and pivot connection of rotary guide (90) on linear guide (80) are located between the first and the second plane at least in a closed state of the hinge. The invention also relates to a piece of furniture with a panel of a piece of furniture of this type.
