SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a furniture hinge for fixing a furniture door or a door of a piece of furniture to a furniture body of the piece of furniture in a hinged manner. Furniture hinge (2) comprises first hinge part (10) for attachment to furniture door (4) or flap and second hinge part (12) for attachment to furniture body (8), hinge assembly (18; 18.1, 18.2), which movably connects first hinge part (10) to second hinge part (12) to realize opening movement of furniture hinge (2), wherein first hinge part (10) extends from second hinge part (12), and oppositely directed closing movement of furniture hinge (2), damping element (22) for damping opening movement and/or closing movement of furniture hinge (2), at least to the end of movement, wherein damping element (22) comprises cylinder (24), piston, which is linearly movable in cylinder (24) relative to it, and piston rod (26), which is connected to piston and protrudes from cylinder (24), and mounting part (27; 27'), which is attached to furniture body (8) and to which second hinge part (12) is attached. It is assumed that cylinder (24) of damping element (22) is fixed to one of parts (10; 12) of hinge or to first component of furniture hinge (2), which is rigidly connected to one of hinge parts (10; 12), at least during opening movement and/or closing movement of furniture hinge (2) pivotally around axis (86) of rotation.

EFFECT: disclosed is a furniture hinge for hinged attachment of a furniture door or flap to a furniture body and a piece of furniture with such a furniture hinge.
