SUBSTANCE: invention, in general, relates to sensor devices made with the possibility of determination of the flow rate of fluid. Sensor device (100) contains channel structure (102-1) containing inlet (105), outlet (108) and an inner surface forming fluid channel (122), passing from the inlet to the outlet through the inner area of the channel structure. The channel structure is made with the possibility of connection to external element (200) so that the channel structure is made with the possibility of reception of fluid drawn through external element (200) at the inlet. Fluid is at least partially drawn through the external element from environment (310) and directed through the fluid channel. Sensor (172) is in a hydrodynamic contact with the fluid channel and is made with the possibility of generation of sensor data indicating the flow rate of fluid through fluid channel (122) by tracking pressure changes in a place in the hydrodynamic contact with fluid channel (122) due to the external pressure of environment (310).

EFFECT: providing the possibility of determination of the steam flow rate by tracking the change in fluid pressure as a result of the passage of fluid through the specified element from the environment.
