SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to psychiatry, and can be used for predicting the effectiveness of treatment of patients with schizophrenia. Prior to therapy, the psychopathological symptoms are assessed in the patients and the hormonal parameters are determined, and if the total PANSS score is below 97, concentrations of free triiodothyronine (T3) are above 4 pmol/l and free thyroxine (T4) is less than 11 pmol/l in serum, high effectiveness of neuroleptic therapy is predicted.
EFFECT: method increases the quality of predicting the effectiveness of neuroleptic therapy of patients with schizophrenia and allows for application of personalised rehabilitation strategy, contributes to the increase in the effectiveness of treatment due to the assessment of a set of most significant indicators.
