FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in asynchronous generators of autonomous power sources. To reduce the starting current of the connected electric motor by switching the stator winding of an asynchronous generator from the star - triangle scheme to double star, the asynchronous generator with a switchable stator winding according to the triangle - star to double star scheme, including a coil group with terminals, a group of excitation capacitors, a two-position switch, a generator load, according to the invention has an automatic switch, an asynchronous electric motor is used as the generator load, and the coil group has terminals from (1) to (9), while a group of excitation capacitors are connected to the terminals (1, 3, 5) of the coil group to which the asynchronous electric motor is connected through its terminals (2, 4 and 6) by means of an automatic switch, and the terminals (7 and 2, 8 and 6, 9 and 4) of this coil group are connected to each other through a two-position switch, forming the star - triangle scheme, and in the mode of switching on the automatic switch and accelerating the asynchronous electric motor to the rated speed, the terminals (7, 8, 9) of the coil group are able to be connected to each other to form a double star scheme using a two-position switch.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of asynchronous generators.
