SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to electric propulsion systems. The effect is achieved by the fact that the circuit for ignition and maintenance of the electronic discharge includes an ignition circuit, which contains a high-voltage transformer and a switch connected in series between the primary winding of the transformer and the negative pole of the DC source, while the switch is configured to receive a control signal, the return circuit to initial state, connected in parallel with the primary winding of a high-voltage transformer, the first rectifier connected in series between the secondary winding of the high-voltage transformer and the igniter; rectifier connected in series between the current source and the igniter.
EFFECT: ensuring high exhaust gas flow rate and efficient use of fuel.
