FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric equipment of capacitor systems of multi-spark ignition with continuous accumulation of energy, and may be used in operation of internal combustion engines. Method for modernisation of capacitor discharge ignition systems with continuous accumulation of energy consists in the fact that signal for spark discharge generation opens master power electronic switch, which connects with primary winding of ignition coil oscillating circuit created with it and reservoir capacitor charged from DC voltage converter. Electric discharge of reservoir capacitor creates a row of AC oscillations in this circuit. AC oscillations pass along primary winding of ignition coil and are transformed by its secondary winding into high-voltage heteropolar pulses of multi-spark discharge. DC voltage converter voltage is used to charge accumulating capacitor. During start-up of internal combustion engine accumulating capacitor charges reservoir capacitor with initial polarity. Additional charging of reservoir capacitor in each cycle of spark discharges generation losses of its voltage are compensated from leakage currents of power circuit and power bleeding for generation of spark discharge. Additional charging of reservoir capacitor is provided by connection of slave power electronic switch at moments of time that correspond to reservoir capacitor charge in initial polarity and matched with AC current transition in ignition coil primary winding via zero value. Blocking opening of master power electronic switch is used to control duration of spark discharge in function of internal combustion engine rotations with the help of spark discharge duration limitation circuit.

EFFECT: elimination of extreme loads in process of generation of spark discharges controlled by power and duration, use of two-stroke bypass DC voltage converters for power provision of spark discharges generation process with external excitation and self-excitation, which are able to provide for supply to several spark generation channels.
