FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the operation of diesel engines of ground and mine equipment of mining enterprises. A way to reduce harmful emissions in internal combustion engines is to introduce a bioadditive consisting of a mixture of esters of organic acids into petroleum diesel fuel of a summer grade. The mass ratio when mixing the obtained components is, wt.%: petroleum diesel fuel of summer grade - 90-99; bioadditive - 1-10. As a mixture of esters of organic acids, esters of linolenic or oleic acids are used. The bioadditive is dosed and introduced into diesel fuel in a separate container and stirred for 5-7 minutes at an ambient temperature not lower than the cloud point of the fuel.
EFFECT: reduction of harmful emissions in internal combustion engines.
