FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, for example, to road transport, special equipment (tractors, excavators, bulldozers, military equipment, etc.), ships (river and sea), aircraft, diesel locomotives, etc. Exhaust gases catching and cleaning method is characterized by that cleaning and neutralization of exhaust gases is carried out in quick-detachable sections/collectors in the form of containers installed on a common plate attached to the body bottom, connected in the form of a coil with each other by pipes unit-by-block, containing in each unit catching and neutralizing agents from hydrogen sulphide, carbon oxide, phenol and formaldehyde, nitrogen oxide (and NOx), from soot. Sections/collectors are arranged in any order. Section, in which purification from hydrogen sulphide H2S and from CO2 takes place, contains mineral oil, or alkali (sodium hydroxide), or bischofite, or polyethylene glycol. Section in which purification from CO carbon oxide takes place, contains toluene and water. Section, in which purification from phenol and formaldehyde takes place, contains an alkali solution in form of sodium hydroxide or naphthalene. Section in which purification from nitrogen oxide and total NOx takes place, contains potassium hydroxide and water. Section in which purification from soot takes place, contains alkaline components and organic detergent additives.
EFFECT: maximum reduction and cleaning of harmful emissions into atmosphere of gases from operating motors/engines of various equipment, while simultaneously reducing temperature and speed of exhaust gases.
