FIELD: experimental medicine.

SUBSTANCE: when the left hemisphere of the brain in experimental animals is disconnected, amtizol is administered intraperitoneally at an equimolar dose of 25 mg/kg 30 minutes before a hypoxic episode. When both hemispheres are disconnected, 2-aminobenzothiazole is administered intraperitoneally at an equimolar dose of 32.5 mg/kg 30 minutes before a hypoxic episode. When the right hemisphere of the brain is disconnected, 2-amino-4-acetylthiazolo[5,4-b]indole (VM-606) is administered intraperitoneally at an equimolar dose of 50 mg/kg 30 minutes before a hypoxic episode.

EFFECT: method allows extending the life expectancy of an animal in an experiment in hypercapnic hypoxia by using antihypoxants of various structures.
