FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the lining of a drum rotary kiln for roasting and drying bulk raw materials and materials, for example, raw and calcined coke, during drying and calcining raw materials and materials in the metallurgical industry. The lining of the rotary kiln is made of rows of refractory wedge shaped bricks with a tongue-and-groove system installed on the inner surface of the kiln, on the spoon part of which there is a protrusion on one side and a depression on the other, made with the possibility of closing into a ring by means of a lock part made of unshaped refractory material, repeating the shape of the "thorn-groove" on bricks.
EFFECT: increase in productivity, reliability of operation during operation of the kiln, strength of inter-suture bonds, service life of the lining due to an increase in the time between repairs of the lining.
