SUBSTANCE: drive device 1 for sliding flap 2 of door or window 3, designed as a simple sliding flap or a flap with a lifting and sliding mechanism, and fixed in stationary frame 4, is intended for its movement, and it has drive motor 5 located on it, actuating helical transmission 6 passing along gear rail element 7 fixed on the stationary frame, which is completely embraced with guiding rail 10 of drive device 1, and which consists of gear segments 47, which are modularly connected to each other, forming a single construction unit, and, for their use in guiding rail 10, are beveled on sides 48, 49 at an angle W, and they have base 50 in the form of a rhomb, which, being stepped from ends 51, 52, is mounted in profile groove 54 through a cut in guiding rail 10.
EFFECT: obtaining a sliding flap of a window or a door.
