FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere and can be used in the energy industry. The invention relates to a fuel and energy system with a low carbon footprint including a link in the processing of hydrocarbon raw materials, a transport link, a link of energy facilities and a link of energy consumers. In the hydrocarbon processing link containing one or more gas processing and/or oil refining and/or petrochemical and/or gas chemical plants, as a result of processing at technological installations of hydrocarbon raw materials coming through main pipelines, a fuel methane-hydrogen mixture is formed as one of the products from the following streams: a methane-hydrogen mixture containing hydrogen, 65-81 molecular percent, from gasoline and/or ethane and/or liquefied petroleum gas pyrolysis plants, vent loss with a hydrogen content of 25-35 molecular percent, from gasoline steam reforming units, waste gases with a hydrogen content of 30-40 molecular percent, from hydrogenation plants, pure hydrogen from hydrogen production plants. Fuel methane-hydrogen mixture with a hydrogen concentration of 30-85 molecular percent is supplied by means of the transport link containing one or more pipelines, to the link of energy facilities containing thermal power plants and/or hydro-recycling power plants and/or gas power plants, and/or to the link of energy consumers containing housing and municipal service facilities and/or individual settlements consuming hydrocarbon fuel from main pipelines, providing minimizing the hydrocarbon footprint.

EFFECT: minimization of the carbon footprint by regulating the composition of the fuel methane-hydrogen mixture used as fuel by numerous consumers.
