FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electric power industry and can be used to diagnose and locate defects in the insulation of power transmission lines, deviation of supports from vertical position, electrical breakdowns and mechanical destruction of insulator elements; to control the level of fuel, oil, temperature, coolants, etc. The device for remote monitoring of electric power facilities contains a satellite navigation module, as well as an ultraviolet flaw detector, a thermal imaging camera, a high-resolution video camera and a laser rangefinder, which are connected to a monitoring microcontroller, an antenna, at least four collector electric motors, a battery, a high-resolution video camera lens is installed in a hole made in the lower part of the housing, its diameter is slightly less than half the height of the instrument compartment housing, UV flaw detector and thermal imaging camera lenses are in the holes that are made in the upper part of the case at an equal distance from each other, and the lens for the laser rangefinder is installed in the hole that is made in the center.
EFFECT: improvement in the quality of remote monitoring of electric power facilities.
