FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the radio engineering of the microwave and EHF bands, namely to the designs of elements of phased antenna arrays. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the antenna array element operating on waves with circular polarization of the field, containing an aperture emitter, an emitter waveguide, a matching transformer, to the base of which a waveguide ferrite phase shifter (WFPS) is adjacent, consisting of a ferrite rod (FR) located inside the magnetization coil in the form of a frame and a winding of FR longitudinal magnetization on it enclosed in a magnetic circuit, all elements are located in a single waveguide that performs the function of a housing, and characterized in that the FR has a square cross-section shape, the magnetic circuit is made in the form of a system of U-shaped ferrite brackets placed one on each side face of the FR, chamfers are made on the surfaces of the ferrite brackets adjacent to the inner surface of the housing, and to ensure the operation of the phased arrays in the pass-through mode, it contains a receiving emitter with a waveguide of the emitter and a matching transformer adjacent to the other end of the WFPS.
EFFECT: creation of a pass-through type phased array element with wide-angle electric beam scanning for operation in the centimeter wavelength range with small transverse dimensions.
