FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to study the dosing of chemical reagents, and can be applied in any sector of the economy, mainly in the oil and gas industry, as part of equipment for supplying chemically active substances. The installation includes: a tank with a thermal control system, hydraulically connected to a pump with a drive, which is controlled by a control unit. The pump has two valve blocks, suction and discharge, an adjustable throttle is installed for back pressure control, and the flow is measured by a flow meter. The piping contains a buffer tank hydraulically connected to the tank, pressure sensors are also installed. Information from the pressure sensors is transmitted to the unit for collecting information and controlling the installation.
EFFECT: use of the installation will allow to determine the minimum stable supply of the dosing pump for a specific design of the valve assemblies, the parameters obtained will be used to adjust the existing chemical dosing settings.
