SUBSTANCE: described is a coffee grinding machine containing a first millstone and a second millstone, interacting based on a first grinding parameter for grinding coffee beans, thereby producing a first portion of ground coffee in the first grinding cycle, wherein the coffee grinding machine also comprises a weighing apparatus configured to measure the weight of the first portion of coffee substantially upon the end of the first grinding cycle, wherein the weight of the first portion measured at the end of the first grinding cycle is used to set the second grinding parameter of the second portion to be ground after the first portion in the second grinding cycle. The coffee grinding machine is configured to abort the grinding of the second portion in the second grinding cycle regardless of the measured actual weight of the second portion.
EFFECT: ensured portioned grinding of coffee.
