FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is aimed at a method for the preparation of an extruded composition, which contains titanium-containing zeolite material with MWW structural type, a method for the production of a molded product, an extruded composition, and the use of an extruded composition for the production of a catalyst precursor or a catalyst for olefin epoxidation. The method for the preparation of an extruded composition includes (i) the provision of calcined titanium-containing zeolite material with MWW structural type, having a water absorption capacity in the range from 12 to 18% by weight; (ii) exposure of titanium-containing zeolite material provided in (i) to acid treatment including (ii.1) preparation of an aqueous suspension containing an aqueous liquid phase and titanium-containing zeolite material provided in (i), wherein the aqueous liquid phase contains water and acid; where the aqueous liquid phase according to (ii.1) has pH in the range from 0 to 5; (ii.2) heating of the aqueous suspension according to (ii.1); where, in (ii.2), the aqueous suspension according to (ii.1) is heated to a suspension temperature in the range from 50 to 175°C; (ii.3) separation of acid-treated titanium-containing zeolite material with MWW structural type from the liquid phase of the aqueous suspension according to (ii.2); (iii) introduction of zinc into acid-treated titanium-containing zeolite material according to (ii); (iv) preparation of a composition containing titanium-containing zeolite material with MWW structural type, obtained from (iii), a precursor of a silicon dioxide-based binder, water and a mixing agent, wherein the composition does not contain polyethylene oxide.

EFFECT: extruded composition used for the production of a molded product contains the smallest number of components, has a much lower plasticity; a molded product has a very low coefficient of sinuosity of pore channels.
