SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna equipment and serves for adaptive compensation for natural and intended interference. The technical result is achieved by the proposed method for suppressing pulse interference in an N-element adaptive antenna array (AAA), unlike the prototype, before receiving signals by all AAA channels, involving setting a vector of complex weighting coefficients of the main channel, wherein said vector provides in-phase summation of the signal component of all AAA channels from the set direction and simultaneous reduction of the level of the interference component in the main channel signal; the vector of complex weighting coefficients of the compensation channel is set such as to provide spatial suppression of the signal component from the set direction and amplification of the contribution of the interference component in the compensation channel signal; a threshold value C>1 is selected, and after receiving and filtering the received signals, a signal of the main AAA channel is additionally formed, the compensation channel signal is formed, and the ratio of signal amplitudes is compared to the threshold value C.

EFFECT: increase in the depth of adaptive suppression of pulse interference acting in the directions of side lobes.
