SUBSTANCE: absorbent product (10) may have a first body section (20), a second body section (30) and an absorbent section (40) passing between the first body section (20) and the second body section (30) and connecting them. The absorbent section (40) is narrower in width than each of the first body section (20) and second body section (30), and is attached to at least one of the first body section (20) and/or second body section (30) by at least one binding area (102, 104) having the first binding strength, and at least two binding areas (106, 108) having a second binding strength exceeding the first binding strength. After using the absorbent product (10) by the wearer, the part of the absorbent section (40) attached to the body section (20, 30) with a weaker binding strength can be separated from the body section (20, 30). The configuration of the absorbent product (10) can be changed from the configuration for wearing to the configuration for disposal in such a way that part of the material forming the body section (20, 30), which has been separated from the absorbent section (40), can be turned over the absorbent product (10).
