SUBSTANCE: invention relates to absorbent sanitary products. Absorbent article includes a substrate containing an absorbent core that has a surface facing the body. Absorbent article also comprises a sealing member for the waist, which comprises a proximal portion connected to the body surface facing the body, and the distal part, which contains the distal edge. Proximal part contains the elastic elements of the proximal part, and the distal part is the elastic elements of the distal part. Distal portion can freely move relative to the base when the absorbent article is in a weakened configuration.
EFFECT: improving sealing properties of absorbent article to prevent leakage of emissions, in particular in the waist regions, also an increase in the free volume to retain the body's secretions before the change of the absorbent article.
