FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to agrochemistry and can be used to improve the sowing qualities of seeds of cereals and leguminous crops. The method for presowing treatment of seeds includes their treatment with an aqueous solution of VPK-402 polymer with a concentration of 0.05-0.5%, which is applied to the seeds at a temperature of 20-25ºC at the rate of 10-15 liters per 1 ton of seed.
EFFECT: proposed method for seed treatment increases the sowing efficiency of seeds up to 90% and the germination energy up to 70% in comparison with untreated seeds, increases the yield and quality of seeds, and enhances the resistance of seeds to adverse effects.
