FIELD: aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular, to designs of composite modular aerial vehicles. Modular aerial vehicle (MAV) with vertical takeoff includes at least two modules containing propulsors fixed on the modules, control apparatuses, wing sections, and connecting apparatuses. The connecting apparatuses include securing elements, rigid and flexible connecting elements allowing for both rigid fixation of the wing panels of adjacent modules in a position wherein the projections of the longitudinal axes thereof on a plane perpendicular to the direction of flight of the MAV form angles near 180 degrees, and changing of the angular position and distance between the wing sections of the modules of the MAV, thereby allowing changing the relative position of the modules of the MAV by means of the propulsors and control apparatuses of the modules in order to change the configuration of the MAV from the takeoff state to the horizontal flight state of the MAV and to detach the modules.
EFFECT: increase in the aerodynamic and weight efficiency of MAV with vertical takeoff.
