FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to azidobenzofuroxanes by the general formula I, wherein: a) R1= H, R2= -NH-C(CH2N3)3; b) R1 = R2 = -NH-C(CH2N3)3. Invention also relates to a method for producing azidobenzofuroxanes by the general formula I, consisting in conducting an interaction of (di)chlorodinitrobenzofuroxanes with a 2-4-fold molar excess of 1,3-diazido-2-(azidomethyl)propane-2-amine at room temperature in a suitable solvent until the end of the reaction and extracting the target product by known methods.
EFFECT: production of new compounds, potentially applicable as energy-intensive compounds - components for creating highly efficient compositions with increased energy characteristics with the temperature characteristics remaining acceptable for explosives.
