FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the petroleum and gas industry and can be used in production, distribution, and transportation of petroleum products; namely, for separation, purification, and preparation of associated petroleum gas for further use in electricity generation units or in other technological processes. Unit for separation and adsorption purification of associated petroleum gas includes a liquid pipeline for supplying the borehole products, and a petroleum and gas separator separating the associated gas from the liquid. The outlet of the gas branch pipe of the separator is connected with the parallel gas adsorbers, configured to be connected by valves to one of the adsorbers operating in the adsorption mode, the outlet branch pipe whereof is connected to the gas pipeline for supplying purified gas. The unit is equipped with a recovery system with a gas heater connected to the purified gas supply pipeline, configured to collect part of the purified gas therefrom and supply said gas through the adsorber operating in the recovery mode. Connected to the inlet of the adsorber operating in the recovery mode are series-connected vacuum pump and compressor, the output whereof is connected to the pipeline for supplying borehole products by means of a return gas valve, configured to return the gas pumped through the adsorber operating in the recovery mode to the liquid pipeline. The adsorbers are configured to operated alternately in the adsorption mode and in the recovery mode, and quick-release cassettes filled with granulated activated carbon used as an adsorbent are installed in the adsorber cavity. Invention provides a possibility of preparing gas for electricity-generation equipment at multiwell pads without using a flare unit and vent stacks for relieving heavy fractions of associated petroleum gas, leading to a reduction in the environmental pollution and an increase in the operation safety of the technology without deterioration in the quality of gas preparation. Consumers are supplied with purified gas with a methane number no lower than 80.
