The method consists in performing the following steps: the step of obtaining an unmodified energy-efficient track of an operated vehicle; the step of determining the track section associated with the unmodified energy efficient track of the operated vehicle; the stage of determining the first estimated energy efficiency of the operated vehicle; the step of changing the unmodified energy efficient track of the operated vehicle to obtain a modified energy efficient track; the change of the unmodified energy efficient track of the operated vehicle is made in such a way that said second calculated energy efficiency of the operated vehicle differs from said first calculated energy efficiency of the operated vehicle.
