A hardware delay line of a fiber-optic security detector is an optical delay line made by means of connection into an optical circuit of reserve cores of a fiber-optic cable.
EFFECT: simplification of mounting process, and increase in mounting speed, as well as increase in general operational reliability of a fiber-optic security detector, in particular, due to elimination from its composition of weakly protected compensation coils necessary for compensation of fiber length of a sensitive element; implementation by the invention of its purpose.
