FIELD: explosives.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for the provision of safety of handling an explosive product during transportation, manipulations with it, and/or long-term storage, in particular to methods for safety of handling both under normal operating conditions and under emergency ones by compensation of pressure of a cavity of an explosive product case due to the provision of depressurization conditions in outer heat impact. The method for the provision of safety of handling an explosive product includes making a through hole in the case, a diameter of which is selected in a calculated and experimental way, depending on a size of the explosive product and a speed of pressure growth of gaseous decomposition products in its heating, and installation of a plug fixed for sealing the case by solder, a melting temperature of which is lower than a melting temperature of explosive product material for at least 30°C, with the possibility of its removal by pressure of gaseous decomposition products formed under outer heat impacts, and release of excessive pressure from the cavity of the explosive product case in its depressurization to the outer environment. Fixation of the plug on the explosive product case is performed, using formed rivets. Through holes in the form of a truncated cone are made in the plug and the opposite part of the case, a diameter of which is selected in a calculated and experimental way, depending on a thickness of connected parts, but not less than their common thickness, holes of the plug and the opposite part of the case are drawn to each other with truncation, when the plug is connected to the explosive product case. After that, solder melt is poured into holes, which hardens, providing the formation of rivets and fixation of the plug to the explosive product case. An interval of rivet placement is selected randomly, depending on their number, which is selected, depending on the required strength of fixation.
EFFECT: increase in the safety of handling an explosive product.
