FIELD: water heaters.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water heaters having means of generating heat, in which air is separated from the heating medium by means of pipes. The heat generator contains a housing consisting of a furnace part connected to each other by flange connections with a service hatch and inlet openings, inside which a burner is installed, a heat exchanger fixed on a cylindrical housing, and a chimney with a deflector. The heat exchange device is made in the form of a multifaceted radiator with vertical ribs to ensure the flow of the coolant in the radiator mainly in the vertical direction; the radiator is provided with a casing, while below and above the radiator in the body of the heat exchange device, rotary dampers are installed to change the direction of smoke movement, located below and above the radiator; the casing of the heat exchange device is made of heat-insulating material and filled with an intermediate coolant. The inlet and outlet pipelines are connected to the radiator and connected to the radiator by means of flange connections, while the said pipelines are provided with fittings for installing thermometers in them, recording the temperature of the coolant at the inlet and outlet of the heat exchange device.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of heating the coolant circulating in the heat generator radiator.
