FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of heat engineering and can be used in manufacturing coil heat exchangers. In an apparatus (1) applied in manufacturing a tube bank (3) of a coil heat exchanger (100), wherein tubes (30) are wound in several tube layers (4) onto a central pipe (300) oriented in an axial direction (z), wherein ribs (10) oriented in an axial direction (z) are located between the tube layers (4), the apparatus (1) is designed so as to comprise at least one first support structure (20) for retaining the ribs (10) from shifting in the radial direction (R) from the central pipe (300), wherein at least one first support structure (20) is configured to be secured at the first end (300b) of the central pipe (300), while at least one support structure (20) rotates the central pipe (300) in a circumferential direction (U) when at least one first support structure (20) is secured on the central pipe (300).
EFFECT: prevented damage to the tubes of a tube bank when manufacturing a coil heat exchanger.
