To realise the technical result, the method for processing calls involves initiating a repeat call attempt to the terminal of the called subscriber in case of call failure and transmitting prompt information displayed on the terminal of the called subscriber during the repeat call attempt, wherein the prompt information comprises at least one of the following types of information: information on the identity of the caller or information on the purpose of the call.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining an unwanted phone call by the subscriber.
