FIELD: shipbuilding; ship repair.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and ship repair, namely to devices intended for launching of built ships, for lifting-lowering ships in order to repair them. A vertical rope shift elevator contains a lifting platform, lifting winches, a control system, safety devices, and building hydraulic engineering structures serving for installation of mechanical equipment. The platform consists of a set of modular sections pivotally connected to each other by elements of a longitudinal set, the width of which is defined by the width of lifted ships. Each modular section consists of two transverse beams connected by longitudinal links, a number of which for longitudinal rolling is defined by a number of threads of rollback paths or a vehicle structure, as well as standards of installation of support pedestals and beams. Distances between transverse beams are defined by conditions of ship leaning depending on their size and weight. At each end of each transverse beam, a block cage of rope tackle pulley binding a section with lifting winches is installed.

EFFECT: efficiency by technical parameters and in functional capabilities of a structure of a ship-lifting structure is achieved.
