SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry and can be used in the manufacture of furniture products with shelves for various operational and/or functional purposes. The technical result is achieved by the fact that the method for reinforcing shelves in furniture products for various operational and functional purposes consists in installing vertical stiffeners on the front and back sides of each shelf with a length exceeding 668 mm, regardless of its width, made of moisture-resistant or non-moisture-resistant laminated wood solid wood particle boards, followed by installation of high-density fibreboard 3-4 mm thick as a back wall, medium-density fibreboard with a protective and decorative coating as facade(s) of the door(s), door(s)-compartment, box(s), semi-box(s) or without it(them), at the same time, the assembly of the furniture product is carried out with the reinforcement of the shelves, and at each shelf, vertical stiffeners are installed on the front and back sides, which help to resist the deflection of the shelf in the center under the influence of a long-term operational load and give the body the necessary rigidity, strength and mechanical safety by fastening with the side vertical walls using fasteners and interaction with the back wall, while the assembly of the body of the furniture product using vertical stiffeners is carried out with furniture fasteners, such as, for example, confirmat, confirmat with dowel, eccentric tie, and when reinforced, a structure is formed, including the upper horizontal panel connected to each other - a shelf, a frontal vertical panel and a rear vertical panel, made of laminated chipboard, which are connected to the side vertical walls, after which, using furniture nails or fastening brackets, the rear vertical edge of the wood- high-density fiberboard 3-4 mm thick, which acts as a connecting vertical element on the back of the case and serves to align and fix the difference in the lengths of the diagonals, as well as the HDF back wall, which can be installed in a pre-prepared groove on the back of the furniture product .

EFFECT: increasing the rigidity, strength and mechanical safety of the structure.
