FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making metal furniture and volumetric structures from cold-bent metal zinc-plated P-, C- and OMEGA-profiles, including with polymer coating. Said technical result is achieved by the fact that in the proposed method of forming a surface, and three-dimensional shapes of furniture, and volumetric structures are made of P-, C- and OMEGA-profiles, having flanges with edges, by cutting of separate parts of specified profiles of required length and preliminary preparation of volume elements, which are obtained by cutting the edges of the P-profile to their entire height along the fold lines of the flanges of the P-profile in accordance with the geometry of the article and with observance of required dimensions, subsequent bending of P-profile to required angle along fold lines and bonding, and further final assembly of three-dimensional shapes of furniture and three-dimensional structures from cut separate parts of P-, C- and OMEGA-profiles, and prepared volume elements by their bonding, using stiffness properties of P-, C- and OMEGA-profiles and their external decorative properties. Besides, at that, flanges and edges of P-profile can be equipped with stiffeners, and its edges can be additionally made with folded inwards, as well as OMEGA-profile edges can be equipped with folds.

EFFECT: providing carcass properties of articles, forming flat surfaces, providing carrying load capacity of articles, saving material during manufacture and assembly, achieving marketability of articles, ensuring safe use of articles.
