SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and can be used in feeding poultry, in particular broiler chickens. To obtain a feed additive, a solution of vanillin acid is prepared by diluting 2.833 ml of vanillin acid in 7.937 ml of distilled water. The prepared solution of vanillin acid in a dosage of 10.77 ml is mixed with 1 kg of feed. The resulting feed additive is used when feeding broiler chickens during the entire period of their breeding.
EFFECT: use of the invention will increase the productivity of broiler chickens, as well as reduce feed costs for an increase of 1 kg of live weight.
