FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and is intended for measuring oil production at group metering units. In particular, an oil well group switching unit is proposed, comprising a housing with a cover and nozzles located around the housing for connection with groups of wells. Inside the housing there are concentrically central pipes connected to a shaft, which is connected to a drive mechanism located on the housing cover. Each of the central pipes is equipped with a branch pipe with a carriage installed on it. At the same time, the branch pipe of the inner central pipe is located in the diametrically opposite side from the branch pipe of the outer central pipe, with the possibility of switching the flow of production simultaneously from two wells. A device for measuring the flow rate of oil wells is also proposed, containing the specified node for switching a group of wells, and a method for measuring the flow rate of wells.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality for measuring the production rate of a group of oil wells by increasing the frequency of polling oil wells using a combination of methods for measuring the production rate of oil well production.
