FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building and can be used when erecting foundations in industrial and civil building in earthquake-prone regions. Earthquake-resistant foundation includes a round shell filled with a bulk material and a shoe installed on the bulk material, wherein the contour of the shoe follows the contour of the shell; and a short pile with a sharp end, placed vertically in the bulk material. The lower surface of the support shoe has a curvilinear protrusion with a central recess, whereto the upper end of the short pile is passed freely. The transverse dimensions of the support shoe amount to 0.63–0.85 of the inner diameter of the shell, and the height of the curvilinear part of the shoe amounts to 0.1–0.25 of the diameter of the shoe. The shell is made of a rubber-reinforced material and shaped as a cylinder with horizontal end walls with central holes and at least one stiffener on the inner surface. The curvilinear protrusion of the shoe is made in the central part thereof as a protrusion with a diameter equal to the diameter of the hole in the shell, and the end-wise round flat flange of the shoe is supported by the upper horizontal wall of the shell. The pile and the central recess of the shoe in the plan view are shaped as an equilateral triangle. The shell is composed of at least two metal-cord recycled tyres from heavy-duty automobiles or tractors of the same standard size, fastened together.
EFFECT: simplified manufacture of the foundation, increase in the stability thereof in relation to earthquake and eccentric loads, and reduced cost of the foundation.
