FIELD: data transmission.

SUBSTANCE: stated result is achieved by the method for data routing in communication networks including transmission of a request from the user apparatus to a router; said router selecting the preferred node with the data requested by the user apparatus from top-level, middle-level and low-level data nodes applying a data routing algorithm; the router forming a billing record on the server of the system and initialising the routing process, wherein the router comprises a table of saved routes, providing the possibility of identifying communication networks immediately adjacent to the router and the data node, wherein the table of saved routes contains data on the optimal and non-optimal routes for data transmission from nodes and data on the rating of the node; the router, in order to determine the optimal transmission route, receiving geolocation data of the user apparatus wherefrom the data request was received and comparing said data with the geolocation data of nodes wherein the data is presented as attributes, or receiving geolocation data of the user apparatus via geolocation services; and when the geolocation data among nodes of different levels and geolocation data of the user apparatus is identified to be matching, the router initialising the data routing algorithm to be used to select the preferred node with the data requested by the user apparatus consecutively from the top-level to the low-level nodes.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of data routing by the system for data routing in communication networks.
