FIELD: compensating devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compensating devices for changing the length of contact wires. The controlled contact suspension compensator contains a block-and-reel system connected to the support, connected on one side to the compensated wire, and on the other side to a garland of individual loads freely lying on top of each other. Mounted on the support is a lifting-lowering mechanism connected to the control system and connected to a freely suspended chain, which is located above the container fixed on the upper part of the garland with the possibility of increasing the weight of the garland by lowering the chain links into the specified container. At the same time, a tension sensor is installed on the compensated wire, the output of which is connected to the input of the control system.
EFFECT: expanding the functionality of the contact suspension compensator due to the possibility of smooth control of the amount of tension of the compensated wire.
