FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to screw gears. The screw transmission contains a lead screw, a lead nut interacting with it, fixed in the nut holder, a floating element and a movable element connected to the nut holder. The movable element is installed in the guides. The nut holder is made in the form of two coupling halves, mounted perpendicular to the axis of the lead screw mirror to each other with a rotation of 90° around the axis of the screw, with balls installed in them. The floating element is made in the form of a cross with two pairs of mutually perpendicular flat cams included in the half-couplings. Connection with coupling halves is carried out by means of balls interacting with magnets placed in coaxial holes made in coupling halves. The balls for connection with the floating element are equipped with magnets placed in coaxial holes made in the floating element and coupling halves.
EFFECT: screw transmission improvement.
